PIKOM Membership Renewal for year 2010

Thank you for being a PIKOM member. Your support is invaluable to us.

The information and communications technology industry (ICT) has been rapidly expanding in recent years and has become an integral part of our daily lives. Here at PIKOM, our mission is to create an environment that is conducive to the growth, prosperity and competitive nature of this industry. It is through this belief and years of perseverance that PIKOM has gained your confidence in being the Voice of the ICT industry.

Locally, PIKOM's opinions and input are constantly sought after by the government in forming policies, incentives, legislation and procedures.

Globally, PIKOM's affiliation with WITSA (World Information Technology and Services Alliance), ASOCIO (Asian Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation) and APIA (Asia and Pacific Internet Association) has led to several major milestones for the Malaysian ICT industry over the years. PIKOM currently helms WITSA and ASOCIO and will be hosting APIA's Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (APRICOT) in February 2010.

In 2009, PIKOM unveiled a major milestone event for the Malaysian ICT Industry via PIKOM's National ICT Month (NIM) 2009. As organizer's of NIM 2009, PIKOM saw a strong presence and support of business and industry leaders from across Malaysia. For the very first time, Malaysians from all walks of life witnessed a month long of ICT activities that encompassed a Leadership Summit, Exhibitions & Seminars across the nation, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives including an e-waste recycling program, a buy online campaign, nationwide ICT seminars and an ICT Strategic Review Report.

With this initiative, PIKOM achieved its objective of further creating awareness, generating demand, and addressing issues and opportunities represented with the theme ICT - The Enabler of New Success. We are confident that PIKOM's National ICT Month (NIM) will create a significant impact, benefitting and serving the business ecosystem and communities throughout Malaysia. This, in return, will definitely increase the interest in ICT among Malaysians from all walks of life.

We would like to inform you that your current PIKOM membership subscription is due on 31 December 2009. The renewal letter and the original invoice will be sent to your office. Your unwavering support towards PIKOM and its activities will further contribute to the thriving ICT industry.
